Clay monoprinting is a one-time image transfer technique that prints glaze from plaster onto clay. Though I use molds to produce these cups, it is not a high production process as each piece is individually hand painted and printed. The inspiration for my cup designs are derivative of elements found in my sculptural work. This monoprint process produces a bold, punchy effect that is unique and satisfies a different aspect of my aesthetic responsibility. An illustration of this printing process can be found under studio on the menue bar.
